The East Market Neighborhood Association
For several decades the neighborhood was known as the GP4H Neighborhood, for Garson Avenue, Peck Street, Fourth Street, and Hayward Avenue, the four residential streets on the east side of the Public Market. Led by a committed group of homeowners, the neighborhood has had an active neighborhood association for more than 50 years. The association’s steering committee recently voted to officially re-name the neighborhood the East Market Neighborhood to highlight our historic ties to the Market.
Our mission is to:
Foster a sense of community and connection among neighbors
Undertake projects that beautify the neighborhood and improve livability
Foster homeownership
The neighborhood association meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm, and all neighbors are welcome. For more information, contact us at hello@eastmarketneighborhood.org
